United Kingdom - Cromwell Learning Community, Birmingham
Cromwell Learning Community is a Multi Academy Trust located in Birmingham and is made up of two schools, Cromwell Junior and Infant School and Bordesley Village Primary School. Both schools are located within the centre of Birmingham, the UK's second largest city located in the West Midlands about two hours North of London. Both schools accept pupils from the ages of 3 to 11 years old. Cromwell is single form entry with 230 pupils while Bordesley Village is two form entry and has 450 pupils. Our school day runs from 8.50am until 3.30pm with our after school sports clubs continuing until 4.30pm. In addition to this we have a breakfast club where pupils can come to school at 8.10am for breakfast and then take part in a selection of activities before school starts. Both of our school buildings were built in the Victorian era with large cast iron arches providing support for the high ceilings and large halls.
Iceland - Glerarskoli, Akureyri
Glerárskóli is a public compulsary school for students age 6-16 years. The school is in Akureyri which is located in the northern part of Iceland. In Glerárskóli students in 1st to 7th grade have their own homerooms but in 8th to 10th grade the subjects have special classrooms, so students go from room to room. Students in 1st to 4th grade are offered extended hours after school (from 1 to 4 pm). The school has around 360 students and 60 employees. Within the school building we have a swimming pool and sport centre. The school runs a Youth Center wich is open two evenings a week and two afternoons.We have a cafeteria where students and staff can buy lunch. The school´s motto is to practice both academic skills and crafts, along with healthy and active lifestyle. The Ave Maria Schools of Granada have been educating and training generations of students for more than 128 years. The Democratic Education Foundation Dmuchawiec is an organization that was created from the need to create a child-friendly environment, functioning on the basis of human freedom as an individual, creating a balanced relationship between members of our community and education in the spirit of democracy. Accompanying in development, following the Child, responding to his needs, while striving to build relationships, create community is the most important of our ideas. The team of people who co-create the Foundation are not only tutors, teachers who work with children in the spirit of alternative education, but also parents looking for educational solutions as close to their own children. In our school there are 50 children from 6 to 13 years old. Our staff consists of 10 people. We would like to cooperate with other countries, learn from each other, start new relationships, get to know new customs and culture, exchange our ways to teach children.
Turkey - Kasım Sacide Ener Ortaokulu, Adana
Kasim Sacide Ener Secondary School is in Seyhan District which is the mostly highly populated district within Adana borders. 71 teachers, 4 headmasters, 1 officer and 4 ancillary staff work in our school and the number of the students is 1200. We have 17 classrooms,one laboratory , a library, one meeting room, an open football pitch, volleyball field and tenis court. Moreover, a small area is designed as a school greenhouse. Our school is a double shift schooling with afternoon and morning. Unlike the center schools our number if students in our classes are in the average. There is a a center school around our neighbourhood and due to this the demnad to our school is less.The students in our school consist of families who adopted themselves to city life but on the other hand there are some students coming from families who immigrated from the rural parts of Turkey. The families who immigrated from rural areas also display a different structure. In our school we have not only kids from the Eastern but also noteworthy excess of students from the western part of Turkey. The teachers try to communicate with the students and the parents and promote their motivation by using appropriate educational methods and they conduct various counselling services on this issue.

Our school is both primary and secondary school located in Yalova in the Marmara Region of Turkey. We have 283 students ages between 7-14 and 24 well-qualified,highly motivated teachers in all branches.They are allspecialists within their own area.There 2 deputy managers and 1 principal who support the teachers and students to raise the achievement. We have well-equıpped large school buıldıng with big garden varıous of trees and flowers in it. There are 13 class, well- equıpped stem class,science lab,intelligence games and brain teaser class.enrıched library, conference hall and sports area. We also have basketball court, footballpitch and bocce field.Our school is surrounded by a forest. There are many socıal,cultural and sports club actıvıtıes such as Drama, Music choırs,chess, robotıc, art exhıbıtıons. We organize so many tournaments and festivals such as science festivals, knowledge contest and sports competıtıon every term . In addıtıon to this, we arrange some sightseeing tours to let the student look over socıal and economıc lıfe ın real relevant cross curricular plannıng.
